For  returning St. Paul Project Homeless Connect Volunteers there are some changes to be made aware of. Please read as follows:

For all of you who are either planning or considering volunteering at Project Homeless Connect this year on June 25th – THANK YOU ! Since we value not only YOU, but also the input that you and guests have contributed over the years, we have made a number of changes this year in an effort to always improve.

Some of these changes include:

More consistent trainings. This year they take all place at Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul - where there is always FREE parking!

More event space.  This includes both service AND volunteer space! Once at the event, you’ll see that:

·        The Intake area has been moved to the concourse, where there are windows and direct community engagement with guests.

·        Intake volunteers may sit during their shift or choose to both sit and guide guests around the event.  This leaves room for a …

·       Volunteer Break Area that is set aside from the action. It also means …

·       Checking in near the break area when you arrive. Don’t worry, because …

·       A  welcome team will guide you there.

·       Housing Services has expanded to its own area. And …

·       Food will be served onsite with more line space and better line control to minimize your wait
